Feasibility of Incentive Plan
Training Staff

Every teacher in Scottsdale Schools would like to have new technology for the classroom – yesterday. Logistically, implementation will need to be a gradual process. Additionally, the training of the teachers will also require extended coursework. All of these issues can be addressed by the use of an incentive plan. The structure of the Scottsdale plan is listed to the right. Completion of each course earns the equipment listed.

Teachers will be allowed to sign up for the plan on a first-come, first-served basis. Classes will open as quickly as instructional staff is available. Teachers will be required to complete coursework in the sequence shown on the right. The total package will require 40 hours of training. All courses will be project based, and teachers will produce integrated classroom materials as part of each course.
